This accessory is recommended if the unit is likely to be exposed to freezing temperatures. The heater has an internal thermostat set for 41° F ± 5° F. 120 and 240 VAC models are available. In addition to the heater, it is recommended that a simple insulated enclosure be placed over the condensate trap and heat tracing be installed on all connected hard piping.
